Below are verified locations that are reported to be affected today.

RESIDENCES

- Kampung Lembah Kinrara, Puchong, Selangor

In a notice today, residents of Kampung Lembah Kinrara were told that a Covid-19 case had been detected in the area.

Residents were advised to take precautions and contact the authorities immediately if they develop symptoms.

- Taman Permata Fadason, Kepong, Kuala Lumpur

Two cases were detected at Level 3 of Block F, the management said in a notice to residents yesterday.

The Kedah Health Department has published a list of residential areas where Covid-19 cases were detected on Jan 26. Below are the locations:

The Kelantan Health Department has published a list of residential areas where Covid-19 cases were detected yesterday. Below are the locations:

- Various residential areas in Kulai, Johor

A total 36 cases were detected in the district of Kulai yesterday, the local health office said. Below are the list of localities where they were detected:

- Vista Mutiara 1, Kepong, Kuala Lumpur

A resident of Level 7, Block B tested positive for Covid-19 and is in home quarantine, the management said in a notice to residents today.

Disinfection of common areas is underway, it said.

- Jalan Kejora 3, Taman Tanjung Minyak, Melaka

The index case of Jalan Kejora cluster lives here and was detected through symptomatic screening on Jan 15, the Health Ministry said.

To date, a total of 248 individuals have been screened of which 36 tested positive.

- Taman Indah, Bandar Baru Samariang, Kuching, Sarawak

The index case of the Indah Riang cluster lives in this housing estate and tested positive on Jan 23 after the symptomatic screening.

The cluster, which has 20 cases to date, and is linked to a social gathering attended by the index case, the Health Ministry said.

- Kampung Kemansur, Bentong, Pahang

The index case of this cluster resides here and tested positive for Covid-19 on Jan 16.

To date, 43 people have been screened of which 11 tested positive, the Health Ministry said.


GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS

- Mantin police station, Nilai, Negeri Sembilan

Nilai district police chief Mohd Fazley Ab Rahman said 16 detainees here tested positive for Covid-19.

The detainees will be transferred to the Sungai Buloh Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) by the Health Ministry, he said.

They were all close contacts of a male detainee who tested positive for Covid-19 after he was transferred from the Sungai Udang Prison in Malacca.

All close contacts of the detainees have been screened and placed under home quarantine.

- Seksyen Hasil & One Stop Jabatan Tanah dan Survei, Sarikei

An individual who visited this office on Jan 18, from 12.41pm to 1.30pm and 2.19pm to 2.55pm, has tested positive for Covid-19, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee said.

- Dewan Suarah, Sarikei, Sarawak

An individual who tested positive for Covid-19 visited this community hall on Jan 21 at 11.35am to 1pm, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee said.

- Inland Revenue Board (IRB), Menara TM, Jalan Semarak, Kuala Lumpur

The IRB announced that it would close the Putrajaya investigation branch and state director's office at Menara TM starting Jan 29.

The closure is to facilitate sanitisation work due to Covid-19 cases in the building.

The office will resume operations on Feb 2.

- Kedah Menteri Besar Office and Kedah Integrity and Governance Department, Wisma Darul Aman, Alor Setar, Kedah

The Kedah Menteri Besar office will be closed starting Jan 31 to Feb 2.

This comes after a Covid-19 case was detected at a state government department in the building.

An employee of the Kedah Integrity and Governance Department from the same building had tested positive for Covid-19.

As such, the department will also be closed from Jan 28 till Feb 6 for sanitisation. 

All staff from this department have been placed under self-quarantine.


BUSINESSES

- China Press office, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur

The Chinese daily newspaper reported that one of its staff members was confirmed with Covid-19 on Jan 27.

The office was sanitised and disinfected by a team from Balakong DAP while close contacts were sent for screening and quarantine.

- Family W Minimart, Kanowit, Sarawak

An individual who was here on Jan 18 from 9.57am to 10.30am tested positive for Covid-19, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee said.

- Royal Vape Matang, Kuching, Sarawak

A customer who visited here on Jan 14 at 1-2.30pm tested positive for Covid-19, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee said.

- Ming Ming Food Court, Bau, Sarawak

An individual who was here on Jan 24 from 1.30pm to 2.30pm tested positive for Covid-19, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee said.

- Various businesses in Sarikei and Meradong districts, Sarawak

According to the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee, individuals who tested positive for Covid-19 visited these locations days before diagnosed:

  • Welcome Cafe, Sarikei (Jan 14, 12.04pm-1pm)
  • Everwin Kopitiam, Sarikei (Jan 17 at 10.14am - 10.50am and Jan 21 at 8.12 am - 8.40am)
  • New Fortune Restauarant, Sarikei (Jan 19, 12.39pm - 1.30pm)
  • Kindo Cafe, Bitangor (Jan 20, 10.26am - 11.15am)
  • Happy Telecommunication, Sarikei (Jan 20, 1.31pm - 2pm)
  • 21 Cafe, Sarikei (Jan 25, 1.19pm - 1.50pm)
  • Nam Leong Department Store (Jan 25, 4.24pm - 4.55pm)

- Various businesses in the Sibu district, Sarawak

According to the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee, individuals who tested positive for Covid-19 visited these locations days before diagnosed:

  • Hi Mart Fresh Market, Salim (Jan 17, 8.52am - 9.20am)
  • Kim Hock Supermarket (Jan 17, 12.26pm - 1pm)
  • Kampung Chicken Rice (Jan 17, 11.37am - 11.55am)
  • Gmart Superstore, Lorong Ulu Oya (Jan 22, 2.46pm - 3.10pm)
  • Sion Hin Cafe (Jan 24, 11.28am - 11.50am)

- Various businesses in the Bintulu district, Sarawak

According to the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee, individuals who tested positive for Covid-19 visited these locations days before diagnosed:

  • Jun Rong Medan Warehouse (Jan 17, 1.30pm - 2pm)
  • TTS 89 Trading Sundry Shop (Jan 17, 1.34pm - 2pm)
  • 7 Eleven, Kidurong Industry (Jan 17, 2pm - 2.10pm)
  • Farley Supermarket, Medan (Jan 17, 3pm - 4pm)
  • The Spring Mall (Jan 20, 5.35pm - 6pm)

EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

- Police Traning Centre (Pulapol), Jalan Sultan Yahya Petra (Jalan Semarak), Kuala Lumpur

At least 8 cases have been detected here.

The cases are part of the Jalan Yahya cluster, announced by the Health Ministry yesterday.

Malaysiakini has independently verified that the cluster is located at Pulapol.

Screening for close contacts was done there yesterday, it is learnt.

- SMK Pahi, Kuala Krai, Kelantan

Four cases were detected at the student dormitory here yesterday, according to the Kelantan Health Department.

- A pre-school in Taman Mahkota Impian, Sungai Buton, Labuan

The Taman Mahkota Impian cluster announced today is made up of seven cases involving staff and students at a pre-school in the housing estate.

To date, 83 individuals have been screened, the Health Ministry said.


MEDICAL FACILITIES

- Segamat Hospital, Johor

Several hospital staff members and their family members have been infected in the past three days, China Press reported.

The outbreak was traced to a staff member, while his two daughters, wife and six colleagues were also infected, the daily reported.


DETENTION FACILITIES

- Pengkalan Chepa Prison and Machang Correction Centre, Kelantan

A total of 33 inmates at the Pengkalan Chepa Prison and nine at the Machang Correctional Centre tested positive for Covid-19, as of Jan 27, the Kelantan Health Director Dr Zaini Husin was quoted as saying by Utusan Malaysia.
