Below are verified locations that are reported to be affected today.

BUSINESSES

- Jaya Grocer, D'pulze Shopping Centre, Cyberjaya

The grocery chain announced that a few of its staff at the outlet had tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday. They last reported for work on Jan 27.

The outlet will be closed today until further notice for sanitisation. All staff at the outlet will undergo a swab test.

- Village Grocer Avenue K, Kuala Lumpur

The management said a staff member from the meat and seafood department in their Avenue K outlet had tested positive for Covid-19 on Jan 30.

The employee last reported working on Jan 29.

The outlet will be closed on Jan 30 from 4pm onwards for sanitisation.


RESIDENCES

- Pangsapuri Sri Jinjang 1, Kuala Lumpur

The management in a circular said three residents have tested positive for Covid-19. Two reside at Block A and the other lives at Block B.

It reiterated for residents to abide by the Health Ministry's standard operating procedures.

- Damansara Foresta, Bandar Sri Damansara, Kuala Lumpur

The management said in a notice dated Jan 29 to residents, sighted by Malaysiakini, that there are three residents who tested positive for Covid-19.

One of the residents is still waiting for the second test results, it added.

- The Fennel Condominium, Sentul East, Kuala Lumpur

The management said in a notice dated Jan 27, sighted by Malaysiakini, that eight security guards from the night shift had tested positive for Covid-19 using the antigen rapid test kit (RTK-AG).

They will be quarantined while awaiting the results of their polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test.

The management said the night and day shift guards do not share the same hostels and the security company has sanitised their accommodations.

Affected areas in the condominium have been sanitised.


OTHERS

- Various locations in Kuching, Bau, Serian, Sarikei, Meradong, Sibu, Dalat, Bintulu, Miri

The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee yesterday added more than 60 locations where those infected with Covid-19 had visited in the past 14 days, and the time they visited.

MEDICAL INSTITUTIONS

- Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital (HSNZ), Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu

A total of 48 health workers from this hospital have tested positive for Covid-19, confirmed the Terengganu Health Department.

All of them have been isolated and given treatment, said state health director Dr Nor Azimi Yunus.

She said close contacts have also been screened and isolated.

The service for treatment of minor cases at the Emergency & Trauma Department has been temporarily suspended beginning Jan 29, she added.
