1. Former attorney-general Tommy Thomas revealed in his memoir how he proposed offering a bounty on the fugitive Jho Low, and how the United Arab Emirates lobbied for a case against the International Petroleum Investment Company to be dropped. The book’s publisher is threatening to sue anyone who circulates pirated copies of the book.

2. Lawyer Mohamed Haniff Khatri Abdulla said Thomas is bound by "lawyer-client privilege" not to divulge any legal advice he had given the government, but former Federal Court judge Gopal Sri Ram said the rule does not apply to the former attorney-general.

3. Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Ismail Sabri Yaakob gave his assurance that the government will not impose a total lockdown as poor and small businesses would not survive, while Fitch Solutions said Malaysia’s economy is worsening.

4. Petaling Jaya MP Maria Chin Abdullah said the government should promote greater awareness of the movement control order guidelines, instead of imposing stiffer penalties for non-compliance.
