1. Prosecutors revealed that Umno had a secret unaudited bank account to receive political donations with, thereby violating the Societies Act, which could get the party deregistered.

2. A secretary testified that the cabinet in 2010 agreed with then-prime minister Najib Abdul Razak’s suggestion to keep an alleged Arab donation to the 1MDB foundation under wraps.

3. The courts will decide on Feb 18 whether Najib's wife Rosmah Mansor must enter her defence against corruption charges pertaining to soliciting an RM187.5 million bribe.

4. NGO leader Ramesh Rao pleaded not guilty to a charge based on his tweet that falsely linked the SRC International trial judge to former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

5. Umno supreme council member Mohd Puad Zarkashi, responding to a legal threat from the Prime Minister's Office, asked if he would be sued for simply asking questions.
