Below are verified locations that are reported to be affected today.

EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

- SMK Saratok, Sarawak

Some 30 students, including 18 living in the dormitories, have been quarantined in a dormitory block at the school for 14 days after contact with a classmate who tested positive for Covid-19, said Saratok MP Ali Biju.

He said 31 students and 11 teachers were found negative for the virus during testing on Feb 8, but are in quarantine until the second test scheduled on Feb 17.

- An education institution at Kampung Pangkal Changgong, Machang, Kelantan

According to the Health Ministry, 14 out of 57 individuals screened at a learning institution in this village, tested positive for Covid-19, up to Feb 12.

The ministry did not name the learning institution.

Malaysiakini's checks found there were several religious learning institutions located at this village.


RESIDENCES

- Five Stones, Petaling Jaya, Selangor

A child residing at Block C tested positive for Covid-19 on Feb 10 after contact with an infected teacher at a daycare centre, the management said in a notice to residents.

The child did not use any common facilities or have contact with other residents, while the family is under quarantine.

Disinfection of common areas was scheduled on Feb 11, the management said in the notice sighted by Malaysiakini.

- The Potpourri, Ara Damansara, Selangor

Two residents on Level 11, Block A tested positive for Covid-19 on Feb 4, the management said in a notice to residents.

Affected areas have been disinfected, it said in the notice sighted by Malaysiakini.

- Rumah Sidah, Sungai Berangan, Saratok

A resident here tested positive for Covid-19, Saratok MP Ali Biju said.

Other residents in the longhouse tested negative in their first test on Feb 7 and will undergo a second test on Feb 15.

The longhouse is under "lockdown" in this period, the MP added.

- Kampung Teluk, Ayer Tawar, Manjung, Perak

A cluster of 21 cases has been detected here, as of yesterday, the Health Ministry said.

The Health Ministry classifies the cluster as a "community cluster" indicating the spread is within a community and not localised among occupants of a certain building or premises.

The index case was detected on Feb 5 through workplace screening.

BUSINESSES

- Village Grocer, M City, Kuala Lumpur

A staff member in the meat and seafood department tested positive for Covid-19 on Feb 12, the supermarket chain said.

The employee was last at the outlet on Feb 6.

The outlet has been disinfected while all other staff tested negative, it said.

- Various businesses in Sarawak

The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee releases a daily list of locations where Covid-19 patients visited days before testing positive for the virus.

The hypermarket is closed for disinfection starting today after a Covid-19 case was detected.
