Apex court ruling could mean anyone can defame political parties, MCA warns

MCA has lamented a Federal Court ruling that parties can't sue individuals for defamation.
Its legal bureau chief, Tay Puay Chuan, said while MCA respected the apex court's decision, the judgment could have a significant impact in future cases.
