Deputy speaker launches Parliament virtual run, MPs not invited

Dewan Rakyat Deputy Speaker Rashid Hasnon officiated at the Parliament Virtual Run 2021 yesterday, with a 1.1km run on Parliament grounds.

MPs, however, told Malaysiakini they were not invited to participate in the 10-day virtual event.

Lawmakers for Pasir Gudang (Hassan Abdul Karim), Segambut (Hannah Yeoh), Serdang (Ong Kian Ming) and Ipoh Timur (Wong Kah Woh) replied in the negative when asked if they were invited to take part.
