Maverick politician Ibrahim Ali is considering running for either the Gombak parliamentary seat currently held by Bersatu's Senior Minister Azmin Ali or a Kelantan constituency in the next general election.
The Parti Bumiputera Perkasa Malaysia (Putra) president has contested the last eight general elections in Pasir Mas, Kelantan, winning on three occasions in 1986, 1990 and 2008.
