SOP violation: Exco says he cooked and delivered satay to a weeping mum

A Terengganu executive councillor who was fined RM2,000 for violating the standard operating procedure (SOP) against Covid-19 explained that he did so after a crying mother called him to say her son wanted to eat satay on Hari Raya.

Hanafiah Mat (above), who is in charge of welfare, women development, family and national unity in the state, said he personally cooked the satay and delivered them to the family, resulting in the SOP violation.
