MIC president denies involvement in assault shown in viral video

MIC president SA Vigneswaran has lodged a police report after a video depicting a man being beaten by unknown assailants went viral.
In the video, the victim is assaulted and scolded for purportedly having insulted Vigneswaran and MIC deputy president M Saravanan. Vigneswaran said the victim, who is known to him, had actually apologised to him a few days ago.
