'Hybrid' Parliament: Revoke the emergency law first, PKR MP tells govt

The Perikatan Nasional government should stop beating around the bush and revoke the emergency law so that the Parliament can reconvene, said Pasir Gudang MP Hassan Abdul Karim.
"I want to say that the elephant in the room in this issue which has stopped you (government) from reopening the Parliament is the existence of the Emergency Ordinance (Essential Powers) which the PN cabinet had enacted and made it a law under the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong's decree...
