SOP breach: Police open investigation into Astro singing reality show

Police today said that they will open an investigation into a singing reality programme by Astro, which had allegedly breached rules set by the government to prevent Covid-19 infection when it was recorded several months ago.

This comes a day after the authority reportedly said that no probe would be carried out, citing that the programme which featured numerous celebrity judges was recorded before the government enforces the third round of movement control order (MCO) 3.0.
