All teachers expected to receive first vaccine dose before Sept

Some 85,000 teachers in schools nationwide are expected to receive at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine before the school session begins this September.

Health Minister Dr Adham Baba said the Education Ministry has given the full list of names to the Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF) to ensure that the teaching fraternity is vaccinated before schools reopen.
