M'sia taking unhurried approach on recognising Taliban - Saifuddin

Malaysia has yet to make a decision on whether to recognise the Taliban as the legitimate government of Afghanistan, Foreign Minister Saifuddin Abdullah said.

He said Putrajaya will take a very cautious approach in arriving at a decision.

"We are following closely events that are occurring in Kabul, in particular, and the whole of Afghanistan (in general). We are taking a very cautious approach...
