Cabinet to deliberate on citizenship issue involving M'sian mums Friday

The cabinet meeting tomorrow is expected to deliberate on the issue of Malaysian mothers whose children were born abroad as a result of marriage to foreigners not getting citizenship because there is no provision in the Federal Constitution to allow it.

Foreign Minister Saifuddin Abdullah (above) said the government was ready to look in detail in terms of policies related to this matter to help solve the problem in the best way.
