MACC investigates Idris Haron's 'sand royalty' corruption claims

The MACC is investigating allegations by former Malacca chief minister Idris Haron that some Umno leaders in the state were engaged in fraud and had misled Putrajaya about the state's affairs.

The anti-graft body said it takes seriously the Sungai Udang assemblyperson's claims of a swindle on an economic project and alleged lies to the federal government on sand royalty in Malacca.
