Oct 12 hearing of Mkini’s bid to quash contempt ruling postponed

The Federal Court has postponed the Oct 12 hearing of Malaysiakini’s bid to review and set aside the court’s decision to find the online media organisation guilty of contempt of court over five readers’ comments.

The news portal’s counsel Surendra Ananth today confirmed that the Federal Court has postponed the hearing to a date to be fixed later, due to rearranging of cases before the apex court.
