MTUC alleges thousands of Kuala Langat workers denied minimum wage

Thousands of private-sector workers in Kuala Langat have allegedly been denied the right to minimum wages, said Malaysian Trades Union Congress (MTUC) Selangor and Federal Territories.
According to MTUC Selangor and Federal Territories chairperson Wan Noorulazhar Mohd Hanafiah, the government through the Human Resources Ministry failed to gazette Kuala Langat as a municipal council from its previous gazettement as a district council.
