Hybrid bill still best option to address party-hopping woes, says Azalina
Pengerang MP Azalina Othman Said believes that the door is still open for her proposed hybrid bill of an anti-party hopping law and recall elections, as she urges for an all party-caucus to ensure it proceeds by the next Parliamentary sitting.
The special advisor to the prime minister on law and human rights told Malaysiakini in an exclusive interview via email that the memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed between the government and the opposition mentions an anti-party hopping law and the hybrid bill has two components which include that law.
