Storms expected in northern Peninsular states from tomorrow

The Meteorological Department has urged people in Northern Peninsular states to be on alert as a low-pressure weather system heads towards the northern entrance of the Straits of Malacca.
It said the probability of the system developing into a tropical depression is low but will nonetheless bring thunderstorms and squall lines to the region on Tuesday and Wednesday.
