M'sia suffers RM6.1b losses due to floods

The country has recorded a total of RM6.1 billion in losses due to the recent floods that hit 11 states and federal territories last month, according to the Department of Statistics of Malaysia (DOSM).
Selangor, the worst-hit state suffered losses up to RM3.1 billion alone, followed by Pahang (RM593.2 million), Malacca (RM85.2 million), Negeri Sembilan (RM77.1 million) and Johor (RM50.1 million), according to DOSM.
