RM16m forfeiture suit: AGC rejects representation by Abdul Azeez's family
The Attorney General's Chambers (AGC) has rejected a representation submitted by family members of former Tabung Haji chairperson Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim against the government's application to forfeit their assets, involving cash and property worth RM16 million allegedly obtained through unlawful activities.
Deputy public prosecutor Nik Haslinie Hashim said a letter to inform on the rejection of the representation was sent to the lawyer representing the family on Feb 4.
