Covid-19 (Feb 13): 21,072 new cases, infectivity rate at 1.49
COVID-19 | The Health Ministry reported 21,072 new Covid-19 cases today, bringing the cumulative infections to 3,040,235.
The infectivity rate declined slightly to 1.49 but is still far above the 1.0 level that is needed to prevent an exponential spread of the virus.
The Health Ministry will only publish today's breakdown of new cases by states after midnight on its CovidNow portal.
The breakdown by states for yesterday (Feb 12), where 22,802 new cases were reported, is as follows:
