MACC launches complaints platform for election graft

JOHOR POLLS | The MACC has launched four special offices to receive complaints in conjunction with the Johor legislative assembly election campaign.
In a statement, the MACC said the following branches will operate daily from 8am to midnight to receive complaints:
Tampoi - 07-231 6080
Kluang - 07-771 4610
Batu Pahat - 07-432 1982
Segamat - 07-931 7982
Complaints can also be transmitted through the WhatsApp application (010-841 4384) or email ([email protected]).
The Johor election campaign kicks off today. Voting will take place on March 12.
Vote buying is covered under Section 10 of the Election Offences Act 1954.
"Treating" is also considered an offence under the same law.
