Malacca rep slams govt over two-year vacancy of state sports director seat

Malacca's former sports exco Kerk Chee Yee has blasted the state government for its failure to fill the position of Malacca sports council director two years after letting go of the incumbent.

Kerk, who was communications, multimedia, NGO, youth and sports exco in the Pakatan Harapan government that was toppled in 2020, had at the time described the move as a political purge.
