New Johor excos must declare assets, get vetted by MACC, cops - sultan
Those nominated to be Johor state executive councillors (exco) would have to declare their assets and undergo background checks by police and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), said Johor ruler Sultan Ibrahim Almarhum Sultan Iskandar.
The sultan said this at an hour-long audience he granted to newly appointed Menteri Besar Onn Hafiz Ghazi in Johor Bahru yesterday.
