Detainee dies in Kajang lock-up, 15th custodial death this year

A 45-year-old man held in remand for a drug offence at the Kajang police station lock-up died yesterday morning, making this the 15th death in custody reported this year.

The man died on the way to the hospital after experiencing what police personnel believed to be a seizure while in lock up.
