Navy chief: 61pct of naval assets operating beyond expected service life
The Royal Malaysian Navy has urged the government for the procurement of the second batch of Littoral Mission Ships to be given immediate approval this year, for the preservation of the country's interests and sovereignty.
Navy Chief Admiral Mohd Reza Sany said the assets were much needed as the gap in combat capabilities faced by the navy had widened, and was at a critical level.
