Muafakat's concept of ummah unity remains the best formula - Takiyuddin

The unity of the ummah through Muafakat Nasional which was initiated by PAS and Umno is considered the best formula, said PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan.

He said this was because the unity of the ummah was not only limited to certain parties but could include any political party, NGO or individual who has the common goal to unite the ummah as stipulated in the (Muafakat) charter.
