Court to decide on Sept 2 if Bung Moktar, wife need to enter defence
The Sessions Court today set Sept 2 to decide whether Kinabatangan MP Bung Moktar Radin and his wife Zizie Izette Abdul Samad will need to enter their defence on corruption charges amounting to RM2.8 million in connection with Public Mutual Berhad unit trust investment.
Judge Rozina Ayob set the date after hearing submissions from Deputy Public Prosecutor Law Chin How and counsel M Athimulan representing Bung Moktar, as well as counsel K Kumaraendran representing Zizie Izette.
