Court dismisses Indira Gandhi’s leave application to cite IGP for contempt
The Ipoh High Court today dismissed M Indira Gandhi’s leave application to start proceedings against the inspector-general of police and his subordinates for contempt of court over the failure to carry out an order to recover her daughter taken by her former husband.
Indira’s lawyer L Pavithra confirmed the court’s dismissal to the media in a live-streamed press conference after the ruling.
