No request to intervene in Najib's case - PM

Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob today said he did not receive any request from Umno to intervene in former premier Najib Abdul Razak's final appeal at the Federal Court.

Instead, Ismail Sabri, who is also Umno vice president, said the urgent meeting of party division chiefs yesterday only discussed ways to strengthen the party to face the upcoming general election.
