Sept 28 for case management of leave to appeal citizenship ruling

The Federal Court has set Sept 28 for case management of the leave application to appeal filed by Family Frontiers and six Malaysian mothers against the Court of Appeal’s ruling denying automatic citizenship to children born overseas to Malaysian mothers with foreign spouses.

One of their lawyers, Abraham Au, confirmed when contacted that they were notified yesterday by the court of the case management date which would be conducted online.
