Afif open to 'going home' to Shah Alam or moving up to Permatang Pauh

Seberang Jaya assemblyperson Dr Afif Bahardin’s preference for the next general election was either to be fielded in Shah Alam or Permatang Pauh as a parliamentary candidate.

Speaking to Utusan Malaysia, Afif, 37, said he was born and bred in Shah Alam, Selangor and has been politically active there despite having represented the Seberang Jaya constituency in Penang for two terms.

“I have longed for a return to Shah Alam...
