Incumbent MP, voter file leave to appeal in bid to halt polls

GE15 | Incumbent Klang MP Charles Santiago and Pandan voter Syed Iskandar Syed Jaafar Al-Mahdzar have turned to the Federal Court after the Court of Appeal rejected their appeals relating to their challenge on the prime minister's advice to the Yang-di-Pertuan Agong to dissolve Parliament.

The dissolution of Parliament paved the way for the Election Commission (EC) to conduct the 15th general election, with polling set for Saturday.
