YOURSAY| Muhyiddin, pot calling the kettle black

YOURSAY | His was a backdoor cabinet of kleptos and traitors

Muhyiddin: PM 'pawns' good governance by picking 'kleptocrat'

SUN: Behold the practical demonstration of the old fable that we were taught in schools, sour grapes. A constitutionally appointed government, sanctioned by the Rulers is being labelled as illegitimate by Malay- first, Bersatu chairperson Muhyiddin Yassin.

Did he not rely on this same group of so-called kleptocrats to steal the mandate from the previous Pakatan Harapan government? And did he not have a bunch of ineffective fellows serving as ministers in the world’s largest cabinet?

Where was this sense of outrage then? Please Muhyiddin, go lick your wounds in private.

On_3rd_Rock: The pot calling the kettle black. Let us not forget Muhyiddin was one of the main actors in the Sheraton Move. Lest we forget - he was a backdoor PM and so were some of his cabinet ministers. Back then with Muhyiddin at the helm, it was a double whammy for the country -- kleptocrats and traitors to boot.

Goliath: Despite much disappointment and criticism laid on the new line of cabinet ministers, Malaysians should be thankful for several good reasons. The main and major reason is that you, Muhyiddin is not our 10th prime minister and PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang is not governing this country!

If Muhyiddin wants to talk about ‘extremely racist policies’, wait until the rakyat sees what’s in store for them if PAS was the government.

Although much has been said about Anwar Ibrahim holding the Finance Ministry, I do believe this is the right decision to make. I do not see any other person but Anwar himself, with the experience and the knowledge, who can pull this country out of the economic slump.

Together with Rafizi Ramli as the Economy Minister, this is perhaps the best combination to ensure we get through these tough times. Not to mention, with Anwar at the financial helm, no one, not even the deputy prime ministers, can do anything funny with the rakyat’s coffers.

Anyone else will cause many problems for us all. As much as we like to see BN’s Ahmad Zahid Hamidi not in the picture, whether he is guilty or not, his episode of corruption trials - will lay firm to my belief, that he would never do anything of that nature ever again in this government.

To those who insist that DAP should get more seats, in reality, this is not a full Pakatan Harapan government that has won a majority of votes. It is sufficient to pull us out of our misery from a backdoor government that had been occupying Putrajaya - which had only a vested interest in power and keeping every party happy.

The extremist and racist PAS is not in the picture, this is not a fully pro-Malay government, and we are no longer in danger of going into a failed state with Muhyiddin and Hadi at the helm.

Malaysians, just be thankful and give room to this government to steer us out of our failing state of racism, corruption and power-mongering state of affairs.

And as for Bersatu chairperson Muhyiddin Yassin, stop being power-hungry and halt the endless conspiracy to become PM again. Just be our check-and-balance opposition leader. It is time you learn how to be one.

BOBBYO: Between the devil and the deep blue sea, we would rather take our chances with the deep blue sea of uncertainty but have that hope that situations will improve for the nation.

Whereas with Hadi and you, Muhyiddin, we have already experienced hell on earth - the Covid-19 crisis that led to the death of over 30,000 innocent lives, the near-death of the economy, where hundreds of thousands lost their jobs, or had their income reduced and the death of democracy - when the emergency was declared.

The list goes on. We are better off with one leader that is facing his trials in court, rather than facing the certainty that you and Hadi will drive this nation further down the slippery road to economic disaster and extremism.

For proof, just look at Kelantan and Terengganu; the same laws will slowly be introduced in Kedah. Which company wants to invest under these circumstances and surroundings? Terengganu is still active due to the investment made by Petronas. If not, no company would want to go there.

I feel sorry for their residents as they, like the Filipinos had to leave their nation or state and work under harsh conditions elsewhere.

These happened because their leaders, who live very comfortably with their exotic cars and high salaries, have no interest in the welfare of their people.

GrayPigeon2115: You have finally shown up while watching silently on the sidelines waiting for loopholes to pound on the new PM.

With your sour grape loser attitude, we knew it was only a matter of time before you start pounding on the unity government. I’m glad you finally show up. Bring it on you racist Perikatan Nasional, we have been waiting for you.

No, Anwar did not appoint an unconfirmed "kleptocrat" to be the DPM but to block and save Malaysia from racists like you and PAS.

You are the most disappointing person in this country now together with Hadi for going against the will of Malaysians, and against the will of our Agong (to promote unity).

Both you and Hadi should be investigated for sedition with the intention of creating disharmony between Muslims and non-Muslims; we are sick of it. Just move on, poor loser and start being a good citizen of Malaysia.
