Batang Kali landslide: 3 search and rescue personnel fall ill, injured

Three personnel involved in the search and rescue operations for the Batang Kali landslide victims have either fallen ill or were injured yesterday but their conditions were stable, police said today.

Hulu Selangor district police chief Suffian Abdullah said they were Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Norazam Khamis, a firefighter who was suffering from health complications, and a Civil Defence Force officer who twisted his leg but was discharged from the hospital this morning.
