Activist calls for inquiry into fatal elephant attack at Sabah wildlife park
The Sabah government has been urged to launch an inquiry into a fatal Christmas Day incident at the Lok Kawi Wildlife Park, Kota Kinabalu, that caused a Borneo Pygmy elephant to gore its handler to death.
According to The Star, the park’s elephant unit head, Joe Fred Lansou, 49, was gored by an adult elephant within the enclosure at about 8.30am on Friday.
