PM arrives in Jakarta for first official visit
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has arrived in Jakarta, Indonesia, for his first official visit to the republic since taking office, a move towards strengthening bilateral ties in key areas impacting economic growth.
Anwar and his wife, Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, landed at the Soekarno Hatta airport at 1.57pm local time (2.57pm Malaysia time) on a special flight this afternoon, where they were met by the official Malaysian delegation that also includes Foreign Minister Zambry Abdul Kadir.
