‘Fighting anti-palm oil lobby with Indonesia will put pressure on EU’
The strategic cooperation with Indonesia to fight the anti-palm oil lobby will be able to put pressure on the European Union (EU), said Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) director-general Ahmad Parveez Ghulam Kadir.
He said the move may be one option that the world's two biggest palm oil producers could undertake to fight the discrimination by the EU on palm oil following the new rules on deforestation by the trade bloc.
