M’sia to print 1m copies of al-Quran in condemnation of holy book's burning
In response to the burning of a copy of the al-Quran by a Swedish-Danish extremist politician Rasmus Paludan in Stockholm, Malaysia will print a million copies of the holy book to be distributed worldwide immediately.
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said this move is to emphasise Malaysia’s criticism of the controversial act in Sweden.
“I agree that the most efficient way to counter this crazy and barbaric action is to continue the efforts that have been made and we are determined, God willing, in a short period of time, to print and distribute one million copies of the al-Quran all over the world...
