It is not mandatory for drivers to download the MyJPJ application even as the Road Transport Department (RTD) moves to digitise its services.
Transport Minister Anthony Loke clarified that the application is merely an option for drivers to get a digital copy of their road tax and driving licence, but there is no penalty if they fail to show the digital road tax.
