Kit Siang: King's wishes ignored, war cry hints at Sheraton Move redux
This article is 2 years old
Former prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin has been accused of ignoring the wishes of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, who hoped there would not be another political turmoil during his reign.
Calling him the “real power behind the opposition leader”, Lim Kit Siang said the Bersatu president had made a “declaration of war” in the Dewan Rakyat yesterday.
According to the DAP veteran, Muhyiddin’s speech made it clear that Perikatan Nasional (PN) wanted the upcoming six state elections to be a “mini-parliamentary election”.
