Wisma Putra concerned over arrest of Tunisian opposition figure

Wisma Putra has expressed "deep concern" following the arrest of several Tunisian individuals, including opposition figure Rached Ghannouchi.
"While acknowledging that the developments constitute Tunisia's internal affairs, Malaysia remains deeply concerned about the latest political development in the country.
"Owing to his health and age, we appeal for special consideration and mercy to be accorded to Mr Rached Ghannouchi (above) during this blessed month of Ramadan," Foreign Minister Zambry Abd Kadir said...
