Bus lane: Tighten enforcement to prevent misuse - group

Stricter monitoring and control of the special bus lane needs to be improved to ensure that other road users don’t misuse the facility and for the public transport system to run efficiently.

Malaysian Public Transport Users Association (4PAM) president Ajit Johl said although there were many areas around the capital with special lanes for buses, private vehicle users often “encroached” these lanes, leading buses to get stuck in traffic.
