Govt nominates Wan Junaidi as Dewan Negara speaker: Sources

Former minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Parliament and Law) Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar is said to be nominated as the next Dewan Negara Speaker candidate.

He is to replace Rais Yatim, whose term as Senate Speaker concluded yesterday.
