Public hospitals might face doctor shortage next month, group warns

Many government hospitals and clinics might face a critical shortage of medical personnel next month, warned a contract doctors' group.
Hartal Doktor Kontrak (HDK) said the transition of some 4,000 contract doctors into permanent positions by the end of July would see the medical officers being relocated, hence creating a void at the facilities they are currently serving.
