Takiyuddin claims watchful cops causing unease in Pelangai campaign

PELANGAI BY-ELECTION | PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan claimed today that the “extraordinary attendance” of authorities monitoring the coalition’s campaigns for its Pelangai candidate Kasim Samat, has created a feeling of “unrest” among locals.

Speaking at a press conference at PAS headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Takiyuddin, who is also the party’s secretary-general, said his call today for the police to be more “professional” was made based on personal observations during the first week of campaigning.
