'Wearing nothing' invite: DAP MP refers PN lawmaker to rights committee

Bentong MP Young Syefura Othman has referred Langkawi MP Mohd Suhaimi Abdullah to the Parliamentary Rights and Privileges Committee over his “offensive and lewd remark” with alleged elements of sexual harassment against another DAP MP.

In a statement, Young Syefura cited Suhaimi’s comments made during his Supply Bill 2024 debate yesterday, when he invited Seputeh MP Teresa Kok to visit Langkawi’s beaches “wearing nothing”.
