GPS retains Jepak with over 8,000 majority

Gabungan Parti Sarawak retained the Jepak seat in the by-election held today after its candidate Iskandar Turkee defeated two others with over 8,000 majority.

Having a total turnout of 48.7 percent, Iskandar polled 9,638 votes against Stevenson Joseph Sumbang from Parti Bumi Kenyalang (854 votes) and Chieng Lea Phing from Parti Aspirasi (431 votes)...
